Het was weer heel gezellig met jullie Hartelijke groeten, ook aan Elly Hans en Ina CONCEPT ========================================================================================================= Dear Janet, We do not want to disturb you, but we are very curious to hear about your efforts to get the three paintings authenticated as made collectively by Vincent and Lautrec, and we have no idea how much time this process can take. Can you give us some information ? As you see, Teun came with both "Vincents" in our home last saturday and we have photographed the paintings again, but now with my son's Canon EOS 5D Mark III . Emacs! This camara's resolution is 6000x4000 pix, so you can see the differences of the structure of the paint of both paintings, and the photo's can be enlarged and printed to poster format. My guess is that Picture#1 is made mainly by Vincent and Picture#2 mainly by Lautrec, but that Vincent finished both pictures and put his signature very modestly right-lower on both paintings. Our amateur UV and IR photo's did not give much or not any additional information. I have tried to analize what happened in the Van Gogh Museum. My first request to the VGM in 2018 was 15 jan 2018 and addressed to Louis van Tilborgh . The answer was one line : we will work on it on 1 feb 2018. On 2 feb 2018 the answer was the same as on 17 july 2006: We do not recognize the style of Vincent in the paintings, no reason to change our opinion. And that was not my question; my question was: Do you see also the "TL Vincent" signatures on the first layer left-upper ? I found from the Webserver's logfile that they did NOT !! look into our website, so they used the papers that I had sent them in 2006 !!! ( Maybe they/he did in 2006 also not look into the website.) For me a reason to think that Louis van Tilborgh is not capable to work with a PC on the Internet . The communication was closed by the VGM. On 17 Feb the Van Gogh Museum looked for the first time into the website with 3 computers, first two I-pads and an hour later with a PC. On 10 May the Van Gogh Museum looked again to the website with a PC. On 04 June the Van Gogh Museum looked again to the website with a PC. They do not know that I am the master of the webserver.. My idea is: the Van Gogh Museum will now each month look into the website to monitor our/your progress.
