I am wondering if you know about the Lotthammer - Leibrandt connection in Poland. Given that the Lotthammer (Lothhammer, Lothammer, Lothamer) family is from Pforzheim and Bad Wimpfen - as are your Leibrandts - I am assuming that the Leibrandt of Poland are related to the Leibrandt's of the Neckar River area (i.e., the Leibrandt's in your family.). I notice that you had a Lotthammer-Leibrandt couple going to South Africa. However, I could not find the couple when I looked on your web site. The German who has done the research on the Lotthammer-Leibrandt connection is Matthias Lothhammer. http://home.arcor.de/pulin/karlswalde/lists/family.htm If you are interested in more information, please contact me at jwlothamer@aol.com sincerely James W. Grandchildren of the Immigrants went to Wolhynia in the late 1860´s. They lived in Fürstendorf 1872, Dermanka and Karlswalde. Some emigrated to canada in 1911. Other family-member stayed there until 1944 when they came to Germany. In Siberia are still today two daughterlines of our family.
