Anyway I just woke up after a couple of hours sleep and thought I would just reply to all the emails at once and then go back to bed to "catch up" on some missing sleep again. I have been involved in the 24 hours in Wellington and maybe some of you saw the coverage on the news. Anyway I had the opportunity to spend Saturday on the Ferry for a lovely trip to Picton and back to Wellington. What a lovely day it was indeed! After the event I helped with the printing of the images, which kept me awake for a second night in a row. Anyway I was lucky to get one image selected and to get a "Bird's" photo into a photojournalism exhibition must be pure luck, I think... or maybe just "Me and my birds". For more information and Media Coverage about the 24 hours in Wellington please see the organiser email below. Well that's just a short insight into a freelance photographers exciting life and now I need to get a good nights sleep so I can do some real work tomorrow. Also catching up on a few outstanding jobs. Greetings form an almost sleeping . zzzzzz... Gerry Leibbrandt ps. "Subject: 24 Hours Media Coverage Hi We hope you have seen some of the great 24 Hours TV coverage so far, last night and tonight on TV3. As we understand it there will be a big item on TVNZ's Breakfast program Tuesday morning, and possibly something on TV1 News that evening. And who knows what might turn up on Monday night or indeed other nights this week.... There is also likely to be a piece in the Monday Dominion Post, and don't forget the biggie - the double page spread next Thursday. Looking further ahead, Wayne Mowat's "Looking at New Zealand" program on National Radio will do an extended segment on the results of the shoot on October 5. Also please do not forget the 24 Hours debrief and wind-down tomorrow (Monday) evening which takes the place of a normal WPS meeting. 7.30 pm at the Band Rotunda.... all welcome. Finally - and most importantly - it's timely to remind you that 24 Hours in Wellington happened because a dedicated team of people put in an enormous amount of work over the last 9 months, sometimes at great personal cost. That team has been Chris Coad, Anne Tate, Debra Polaschek, Jane Tweedy, Brent Carryer and May Ho, and they really deserve your gratitude for their outstanding work in making this event the success it has been. It's an ongoing privilege and pleasure for me to continue to work with them all. 24 Hours in Wellington - Lived it to the Max yet??? Hi

We hope you have seen some of the great 24 Hours TV coverage so far, last night and tonight on TV3. (Monday) evening which takes the place of a normal WPS meeting. 7.30 pm at the Band Rotunda.... all welcome.
