Thank you for responding with such incredible information. I would love to the 400 MB CD of our history. My address is: Brad & Carol Leibbrand 9521 - 116th Ave NE Kirkland, WA 98033 We live near Seattle Washington. If you're ever in the area please stay with us and we'll show you around. My brothers live in Michigan and near Washington DC. My dad lives in Michigan and grew up in Minnesota on the farm his grandfather started after traveling west in a covered wagon. All of my 1st cousins are spread across the US. I'm sure they would all love to visit. I've included my family so they can enjoy the work others have done. We've cut and pasted the English information for any easy start. Here's the last family reunion photo. Hopefully you'll see a family resemblance. I'm on the far right with my wife. Sure ! Hello Brad Leibbrand, Not living in Weissach or Württemberg, but in Best, The Netherlands, I think you will be interested in the big Leibbrand(t) family tree at http://www.leibbrandt.com/stamm.htm (400KB) Unfortunately your "Great, Great Grandfather Michael Leibbrand, born in Weissach on April 5th, 1827" is not included in this family tree, but his ancesters certainly are. More general info about the Leibbrand(t) Genealogy you will find on http://www.leibbrandt.com When you are really interested, i can send you a CD with all the files on the L-site (about 400 MB) Best regards, Hans Leibbrandt. ______________________________________________________________ Re: "Dear Weissach Friends, I think my Great, Great Grandfather Michael Leibbrand was born in Weissach on April 5th, 1827, and was married to Rosena Zindler (born Sept 9, 1831). Michael came from Stuttgart, Germany in 1854 at the age of 27. From there Michael lived in Minnesota and had a son named Jacob. Jacob had a son named Edward. Edward had a son named Keith. Keith Leibbrand is my father. I am Brad Leibbrand and live near Seattle Washington. I am married and have 2 daughters + a step son and daughter. My wife Carol and I see that there are still Leibbrand's in Weissach Germany and wonder if we are related? I do not speak German, but would love to talk with someone who knows English and knows if there is still someone related to me in Weissach.
