When you scan the photo's and mail them to me, I will put them in the new folder : LEIBBRANDT_Archive/Sidney_Robey_Leibbrandt In the main L-family tree I can make a link to the photo's and the other material about your father. You can make a document to explain the context of the photo's. The text under the photo is now: [11.241244] Hendrik Albertus *1876 +1897 Staatsartillerie Should it not be "Johannes Meyder Leibbrandt" (your grandfather) "your comment: Fought in the Anglo-Boer war Commandos as heliograph and scout" as in the DPL stamboom file: Meyder (Meider) Johannes [11.229121] ....................................................................... 17 [11.229121] Meyder (Meider) Johannes *19/04/1878 +17/6/1954 or his son (your uncle) ?? Meyder Johannes [12.2291212] *c1910 .................................................................................. 17 Discuss this with Peter Allan before we change die onderskrif of the photo in the DPL stamboom file. This is very interesting ! Who is going to make the Leibbrand(t)-boek: Walter, his son-in-law, or you, or me ? I can, with some help, convert his MAC Pagemaker 6.0 files to a format that can be handled by the rest of the world. Scanning the printed pages is the very last option ! I think someone should contact the Wuerttemberg State Archives to archive this unique L-material permanently. And of course they want to have it also in digital form ! Baie groete ook van Annette se kant aan jou en Ina Bernd From: Hans Leibbrandt To: rosengs@hotmail.com, berndschae@t-online.de Subject: Genealogy Research in Stuttgart Libraries and Archives Date: Fri, 25 Feb 2005 17:51:17 +0100 Hallo Bernd, The following web pages may help you to find links between Luitprand and Leibbrandt Genealogy Research in Stuttgart Libraries and Archives http://www.kinquest.com/genealogy/resources/stuttgart.html and Libraries, Archives & Museums http://www.cyndislist.com/germany.htm#Libraries Did you see your father's photos at http://www.leibbrandt.com/LEIBBRANDT_Archive/Peter_Allan_Leibbrandt_South_Africa/html/SA_Leibbrandts.htm#P122291213 Got it all from Peter Allan.
